Accompanist Kathy Russell

Our accompanist, Mrs. Kathy Russell is a well known performer, accompanist and music educator, in the Greater Victoria area.

A native of rural Saskatchewan, Kathy first came to Vancouver Island in 1994 to study music at the University of Victoria with Professor Bruce Vogt. She has since completed both her Bachelor and Master’s degrees with distinction.

Kathy has twice been honored with the Johann Strauss Foundation Scholarship for studies in Salzburg, Austria and frequently performs as both a soloist and a much sought after accompanist with other such groups as the Arion Male Voice Choir, Youth Choir 61.
